Happy Birthday Deanna!

Today is my BFF's birthday! I just want to say how blessed I am to have her in my life. She has walked through many stages of life with me, as we've been friends for 16 1/2 years! I created this card for her, as she is what you call "on Edward's team" (Twilight series)  hehehe... I used one of Edward's quotes, and also made Edward sparkle! This stamp is one I got from a new found place for me, The Greeting Farm . I just love the digis and the stamps from this place and must get my hands on more!

A card for a friend

An acquaintance of mine from work has taken a leave of absence due to health issues and I wanted to just send her a little note to let her know I am thinking about her. I've never met her face to face as she works in our Seattle lab, but I've talked to her many times and she is just the sweetest lady ever. So anyways, here is the card I made for her.
I'm still trying to get the Gamsol tech. down. I've not done it enough to perfect it.
I used the following:
Paper: Basic Grey "Stella Ruby" and Bazzill
Stamp set: Stampin Up "Sunflower Serenade"
Ribbon, brads, safety pen, "for you" stamp, and colored pencils: Close To My heart

A simple Criss Cross Card I made with a little bit of CTMH producs (stipped stickease ,light pink flower) and Bazzill paper and Basic Grey paper.

RicRack and flower are from Misc. companies.

Was a simple card to make, and fun! I will for sure have to make more of these.

My first try at altering a canvas. I plan to give this or one like this to Deanna. I will have one and she will have one.

The quote up top says "friends give full color to our lives."
